Industrial revolution, social and technological changes in Post-war Britain

During the Industrial Revolution, the country changed from a handicraft and agrarian (agricultural) economy to one dominated by industry, steam power and manufacturing- powered by coal. These technological changes introduced new ways of working and had a fundamental impact on people’s daily lives.
