This former pit pony was called Aime and came from Mansfield Colliery in Nottinghamshire. It was described as a ‘typical Durham pony’.

It has a fibreglass body with a hair coat and stands on wooden blocks. Originally is came from Lound Hall which was the National Coal Board’s own museum. They received Aime in 1978.
