Official Launch Event of Asparagus Green Café at the National Coal Mining Museum for England

Thursday 19 March 2015, 3.00pm

A month into their new catering contract, Asparagus Green invites you to their network and nibble evening at the National Coal Mining Museum for England at 3.00pm, Thursday 19 March.

Following a successful few weeks, Anthony Hegney and his Asparagus Green team would like to show the people of Yorkshire exactly what they can do with an evening of delicious tasters. Guests will be able to meet other likeminded business people, swapping business cards with no structure or stress attached; a casual opportunity to take a look around the facilities and see what culinary treats are on offer. Enjoy a range of savoury treats, courtesy of Total Food Services followed by something sweet washed down with a glass of fizz, courtesy of Bubbles & Punch.

Asparagus Green joined the museum in February, along with their fresh approach to catering and impressive culinary skills. Paying special attention to the variety and healthiness of meals, the family orientated menu reflects the region’s heritage of coal mining at competitive prices.

Committed to providing an authentic Yorkshire Dining experience, Asparagus Green uses products and ingredients sourced from the county, including pork products from Greedy Little Pig, and a selection of cakes from Proper Maid to add to the selection baked on site, Yorkshire tea from Taylors of Harrogate & coffee roasted in Meltham’s from Grumpy Mule.

Make the most of your day and explore the museum’s galleries, take a stroll around the picturesque nature trail or brave the depths of the underground tour – 140m beneath the surface.

There is no formality about the event, however please let Anthony Hegney know if you able to attend by email: anthony@asparagusgreencatering.co.uk
