
Front of House Assistant
Join our dynamic team and be the face of exceptional customer service! As a key member of our front of house team, you’ll warmly greet customers and ensure their dining experience is top-notch. You’ll efficiently take orders, serve food and drinks, and provide information about our menu items, including daily specials. Your role will also involve handling customer payments using our systems and processes.
In addition to front-of-house duties, you’ll assist with basic food preparation and kitchen tasks, maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene. You’ll keep both front-of-house and back-of-house areas clean and organised, including tables, service stations, and catering equipment. Working with the catering team, you’ll ensure smooth service during busy periods and handle customer enquiries and complaints professionally to guarantee a high-quality customer experience.
You’ll also support the commercial team in delivering catering services for conferences, wedding receptions, and special events. Operating the bar, ensuring responsible alcohol service, and maintaining high service standards will be part of your responsibilities. You’ll assist in setting up and running catering pop-ups at events, adapting to different service environments, and work in our secondary on-site catering outlet as needed to ensure consistent service quality across all operations. Additionally, you’ll support visitor welcome and retail/ticket sales as required.
Flexibility is key, as you’ll undertake other duties at a comparable level of responsibility when needed. Regular weekend and bank holiday work is required, with occasional evening shifts. Join us and contribute to creating memorable experiences for our customers!
