Join us on Saturday 21 June for a day inspired by the 1940s. Enjoy live music, explore stalls with unique items, savour sweet treats, admire classic cars, and enjoy some dancing.

Rich and Fancy Afternoon Tea with live music
12pm in the Café,
pre-booking required

Join us for a stylish celebration of the 1940s and enjoy a delightful afternoon tea curated by Rich and Fancy, accompanied by live performances of iconic 1940s tunes.

Yorkshire Military Band and Corps of drums
11.30am-12.15pm, 12.45pm-1.30pm, 2pm-2.45pm. Free, drop-in
Pit Yard.

One of the finest military concert bands in the UK, come along and listen to them perform!

1940’s Best dressed competition
Dressing up in your best 1940s attire is highly encouraged! The winner will get 2 x Underground Tour tickets, judging will take place at 3.15pm.

Military vehicles
10am-4pm. Free, drop-in

Have your picture next to some classic 1940s vehicles. Highlights include a 1945 Daimler Dingo Scout, Willys Jeep and Bedford MV.

WW2 Storytelling
11.30am-3.30pm. Free, drop-in

Parkinson’s Yard, The Hub

Meet Peggy and hear about her experiences in the war.

Other activities include stalls, Horsekeeper talks and pony feeding, Paddy Train rides (weather dependent), The Beach, WW2 discovery spots, and lots, lots more!
