VE Day Beacon Launch
Join us as we commemorate VE Day and the role of the Bevin Boys in the Second World War.
This special evening event will honour the bravery and sacrifice of those who served, with a moving memorial service including the lighting of the beacon, poetry readings and brass band performances from Yorkshire Military Band.
Plus, join in with quizzes, crafts and games.
The beacon will be lit at 9.30pm.
Fish and chips will be available to purchase, as well as hot drinks and cakes.
Please note that the Museum will remain open until 10pm, with Time Tunnel tours available to book for 7pm and 8pm.
