VE Day Beacon Launch

Join us as we commemorate VE Day and the role of the Bevin Boys in the Second World War.

This special evening event will honour the bravery and sacrifice of those who served, with a moving memorial service including the lighting of the beacon, poetry readings and band performances.

The beacon will be lit at 9.30pm.

Fish and chips will be available to purchase. There will also be quizzes, crafts and games to get involved with.

Please note that the Museum will remain open until 10pm, with Time Tunnel tours available to pre-book via the website until 8.30pm.
