Entitled ‘Don’t ride or you may never walk again,’ the poster illustrates the potential hazards of riding conveyor belts and was found on site at Harworth Colliery. The character developed by Hooper for this NCB safety campaign was called Davy Lump who was based on his earlier cartoon creation Pilot Officer Percy Prune.
