Our Stories: Preserving local memories for future generations

Age UK Wakefield District has collaborated with a range of talented local creatives to bring these stories to life, transforming personal recollections into a vibrant celebration of the district’s shared history.

Encounter performance on film and illustrations by local creatives, alongside audio recordings featuring Our Stories participants and drawings by an ex-miner, transforming personal recollections into a vivid celebration of the district’s shared history.

Our Stories is a National Lottery Heritage funded project delivered by Age UK Wakefield District, dedicated to preserving the memories and lived experiences of people across the Wakefield District.
