Walking on Hot Coals: Firewalk Challenge
Step into history, and onto hot coals, at this unforgettable firewalk challenge set in the heart of one of one England’s most iconic heritage sites.
Join us at the Museum for a Firewalk Challenge like no other, hosted by UK Firewalk. This is your chance to push your limits, conquer your fears, and walk barefoot across hot coals. Funding will support the Museum’s award-winning learning and engagement programme, providing enjoyable and inspiring ways for people of all ages, backgrounds and needs to engage with the history of coal and its legacy.

Registration: £30 per person.
Sponsorship Goal: suggested £100 per person.
We would love you to raise funds which would help support young people in the borough and £100 is the goal! But don’t worry if not, every contribution, big or small, makes a difference.
We are so grateful for your support in keeping the stories of coal mining alive. If you raise £50, you will receive a a complimentary ticket for our immersive Time Tunnel experience. If you raise £100, you will receive two complimentary Time Tunnel tickets and a branded water bottle.
