Following further negotiations with UNISON,industrial action, largely affecting our Underground Tours, is confirmed to take place until Wednesday 8 July 2026. Although Underground Tours will be unavailable during this period, theMuseum Remains Open, and continues to share the important history of coal mining with our visitors. This lamp is one of the final developments of the Type 7 series. The Wolf Patterson No.7RMBS was first approved in 1935. In 1949 permission was given to drop the word Patterson from all Wolf lamps. Production of the 7RMBS finally ended in 1992.
