The Haydock pattern lamp was a high-candle-power lamp produced by Davis of Derby from 1927 onwards.

In the 1934 Lighting Schedule it is stated that these lamps were capable of omitting a light of 4 candlepower and the lamp could carry enough oil to burn for 14 hours and after a nine hour shift the candle power did not drop significantly.
