Walk, Talk and Experiment
25 July, 1, 8, 22 and 29 August at 1.30 and 2.30pm outside the Power House
Join us for a 15 minute family friendly walk from the Power House to the Bird Hide talking about how the museum turns bright orange mine water into water clean enough to release back into the local river. At the end of the talk the group will conduct a litmus test to see if the process has actually worked. Children will then be encouraged to continue exploring the nature walk creating their own natural rainbow on card using plants and flowers they find along the way.
