Please note that we are set to temporarily pause our iconic Underground Tours, from Sunday 29 December until April 2025, to install a brand new winding engine which allows us to take visitors 140 metres underground. The Museum will remain open with a brand-new digital immersive experience launching in January 2025.

Join storytrails for an interactive storytelling performance exploring the strong bonds between mining communities, the natural world, and the old, deep stories within it.

Aimed at age 7-12 but younger siblings welcome.

Please note: Adults do not need to pre-book their place. The performance will take place will take place on our Nature Trail, so please dress for the weather. The Nature Trail can be uneven and slippery when wet. Please meet at Reception, The Hub.
