This June, we're giving students the chance to explore their creative sides as we host our very own Arts Week.
Experience our workshops and be inspired by the mining banners on display, find out about what the symbols and colours used to mean, and even have the opportunity to create an original banner and take it back to school!
Available: June 3, 4 and 5
Duration: 10am - 12pm and 12.30pm - 14.30pm
Cost: £75 per class
Maximum of 34 students
To book your place email email@example.com
To make a day of it, why not add an underground tour for £2 per person and explore the brand new Museum galleries and colliery buildings?
For the musically inclined, then you won't want to miss our hugely popular Miner to Major workshop on June 6 - 7, giving students the opportunity to develop musical skills, learn about mining heritage and challenge themselves to try new things. FULLY BOOKED
And that's not all! To celebrate Arts Week, we are offering students the chance to earn their Arts Award right here at the Museum, just by taking part in our workshops.
