In 2016 the Wacky Wednesday team are busy preparing for the third annual Wacky Wednesday Christmas special which will take place on 7 December. Other members of the Volunteer team have stepped up to help on the day so everyone is getting into the Christmas spirit of giving which particularly connects to the spirit of our new Christmas exhibition.
The volunteer team now includes an established volunteer group of performance poets. The Coal Shed poets will be performing at the opening of the special Christmas exhibition, ‘A Share of a Pensioner’s Christmas’. They have also written work, which will be performed at the next memorial garden dedication on 26 November.
The Museum is interested in any other community based volunteer artists or crafters who would like to support the Museum by sharing their expertise.
