Volunteer Group : Mission to Help the Museum
Posted on by Melanie Charlton
Minster Law, a firm of solicitors, recently donated a day of volunteering at the National Coal Mining Museum.
Despite the intense heat they managed to complete a range of tasks. This included smartening up the area around Hope Colliery, painting the entrance to the Lister-Kaye tunnel, cleaning all the interpretative signs and removing litter on the nature trail and providing a better environment in the fields used by our pit ponies.
They really made a difference.
They were still smiling at the end of the day so this team-building exercise obviously worked for them too!
We'd like to say a big thank you to the team at Minster Law.
