How long have you volunteered at the Museum for? 1 year
What made you want to volunteer? I worked in the Coal Mines for 36 years and so now I am passing my experience on to someone else.
Tell us about your life before volunteering at the Museum? Coal Mining development
What do you enjoy most about your role? The lads I work with are so great and meeting the public, it’s very sociable.
Can you tell us an interesting fact or something surprising that you have discovered or learnt, whilst volunteering at the Museum? The museum collection and sometimes learning things that I did not know about.
