Black History Month: Looking Back at Digging Deep

October marks Black History Month, and we're looking back to 2019 which saw the opening of Digging Deep: Miners of African Caribbean Heritage here at the National Coal Mining Museum.

The videos below hear from several black men who worked in the mining industry, each who discuss their experiences covering topics such as teamwork, racism, the strike and injuries and accidents.
