If you are looking for something worthwhile to do in your free time or would like to gain work experience after completion or during your postgraduate Library qualification, why not become a volunteer at the Museum library?
We would welcome your help in many areas such as using your knowledge about coal mining in England; helping us keep current mining alive by sourcing and filing press cuttings; organising the library collection to be more user-friendly or researching topics for our fact sheets and more……

Monetary Donation
On your visit to the library, we have a monetary donation box. All donations are put back into the running of the library.
Suggestions
We welcome suggestions of books or journals for the library and all suggestions will be given due consideration for adding to the collection.
