Don't forget to Gift Aid it!

Gift Aid is an easy way to make your donation tax effective.  The Museum can reclaim the basic rate of tax on your donation from the Inland Revenue.  There is no extra cost to you - all you need to do is complete a Gift Aid declaration.
To qualify to make a Gift Aid declaration, what you pay in income tax or capital gains tax must at least equal the amount we will claim on your donation in the tax year (currently 25p for every £1 donated, plus a further 3p on every pound in transitional provisions for Gift Aid donations made from 6 April 2008 until 5 April 2011).  So if you are eligible and want to make your donation go further, Gift Aid it!
