Making a Booking

Step 1 - provisional booking
Contact the Bookings Officer on 01924 848806, who will check availability for your preferred date (preferably at least 3 months in advance of your visit). It will be useful for you to have the following information to hand when you telephone:

Name of the group/school with contact name, address and telephone number
Date(s) you would like to visit
Time of arrival and departure
Number and age of the group, including adult supervisors
Special requirements

Step 2 - confirm the booking 
After making a provisional booking with our Bookings Officer, you will be sent an Education Visits Pack. This pack includes practical information about your visit and a booking form. Choose which activities you would like to book, complete the booking form and return it to confirm your booking.

Step 3 - prepare for your visit
If we can accommodate your needs, we will then send you final confirmation and times of your workshops or trails if you have booked any. Please note underground tour times are not allocated if you do not book a workshop. The underground tours and the workshops take place in groups of 17 children and 2 adults. It is helpful if you can organise your party into groups of this size in advance.

Please note that our busiest period is from May-November and we suggest booking early if you would like to visit during this time.
