Adventure Day

Can you find the treasure hidden by the mythical mine manager, Ebenezer Shrogg, at Caphouse Colliery?
In your teams, follow the clues above and below  ground to collect information that will lead to the treasure.

The Museum retains a facilitator, who will undertake the pre-event consultation and debrief.

The Adventure Day is designed to be non-competitive, with a range of skills being required to complete the search successfully and find the treasure. The format of the Adventure Day will assist in improving:

• Team building
• Problem solving
• Communication skills

Each Adventure Day costs £950.00 plus VAT. This includes up to 24 delegates in 3 teams. Additional teams £75.00 plus VAT

Your day includes:

• Pre-event consultation to ensure that maximum benefit is gained from the event

• Tea / coffee and biscuits twice

Take up the challenge of a National Coal Mining Museum Team Discovery Trail .

In your teams, use the quiz sheet to navigate around the Museum and win first prize. The Team Discovery Trail is a great way to round off your day at the Museum and ensures that you see as much of the site as possible.

Your  Team Discovery Trail  includes:

• Quiz sheets for each team containing 23 questions, designed to move them around the Museum site.
• Prizes for the winning team, supplied by the Museum.
• Team Discovery Trails can accommodate up to 5 teams each containing up to 6 people.
