The Museum Café

The café provides a range of home-made meals and snacks. Overlooking the valley to Thornhill and Dewsbury, it is an excellent place to take time out from discovering all that the Museum has to offer.

From 9.45am for: bacon or sausage sandwiches


From 11.45am to 2.00pm for:

  • Traditional - style meals such as meat and potato pie, corned - beef hash, or yorkshire puddings with sausages
  • Snack items such as hot roast sandwiches, quiche or chip butties
  • Made to order sandwiches and salads or a bowl of soup
  • Children's portions and meals are always available


Throughout the afternoon for: tea and homemade cakes.

As far as possible the café follows a policy of using regionally produced goods and suppliers, or products that have been fairly traded.
